Born in the City of Delights, or more commonly known as Palermo, Italy, Marcello fell in love with cooking from a young age. Influenced by the crystal clear water, the flavours of the culturally-rich air, and a little encouragement from his mother, he went on to receive professional training from Milan and owned a restaurant on the Adriatic Sea. Now for over twenty years, he’s brought his joy of Southern Italian cooking to Marcello Ristorante – a neighbourhood favourite on Commercial Drive, set for any occasion.
